Why Another War?

If someone is wondering, why another war, before the previous comes to an end, then someone should consider this prophetic text:

"In becoming continuous, war has ceased to exist. The continuity of the war guarantees the permanence of the current order. In other words, "War is Peace"
-George Orwell, 1984

(You can find more on 1984 here)

Rearrangement

There has been a small rearrangement. I am now publishing the blog directly to blogspot, so you can access the website directly from http://mokitieus.blogspot.com/. The only difference is that while browsing the [ Main / Blog ] section, the main menu will be located at your right, instead of the top of the window.

Audio Clips

Now, you can download the audio
clips from the Lucid Sawn Concert
DVD seperately, thanx to filexoom
from here.

What Keeps Mankind Alive?

You gentlemen who think you have a mission To purge us of the seven deadly sins Should first sort out the basic food position Then start your preaching, that’s where it begins You lot who preach restraint and watch your waist as well Should learn, for once, the way the world is run However much you twist or whatever lies that you tell Food is the first thing, morals follow on So first make sure that those who are now starving Get proper helpings when we all start carving What keeps mankind alive? What keeps mankind alive? The fact that millions are daily tortured Stifled, punished, silenced and oppressed Mankind can keep alive thanks to its brilliance In keeping its humanity repressed And for once you must try not to shriek the facts Mankind is kept alive by bestial acts What Keeps Mankind Alive? (Weill/Brecht)
